Flame Retardant Foam Polyurethane Systems
There are many occasions when polyurethane foams need to be flame retardant, for both technical and legislated reasons. It is directly affected by a fire, the fumes generated during combustion have a composition similar to that of other organic products. One of the most effective methods of flame-retarding polyurethane foams is to incorporate halogenated compounds into the molecular compo¬sition. Traditionally, most flame retardants, although efficient in their function of retarding open-flame combustion in a polyurethane foam, promote smolder, thermal degradation (scorch), and hydrolysis. In our company, we develop new formulations in different application such as panel, wood imitation, block foams and etc.
